Last week, two bills had passed the diet to expand the Technical Intern Training Program for foreigners and revise the immigration law to add nursing care jobs as a residence status.
Those two bills will be activated in a year.
Technical intern training program can apply without any requirements except he or she should be over 18 years old. Now government is expanding it to nursing care service.Nursing care category requires Japanese nursing care license”Kaigo Fukushi-shi”.
